Opinion| Lawrence David| Another day, another Obama ‘holdover’ is accused with participating in a criminal conspiracy against the United States.
When will the actions of these traitorous ‘holdovers’ be more properly identified as operatives deliberately planted throughout our government and working on behalf of former Manchurian President Barack Hussein Obama?
For two weeks we endured the opinions, suppositions, and out right mischaracterizations by Obama ‘holdovers’ in the State Department.
All because they disagreed with President Trump’s efforts to get to the bottom of, you got it, Obama administration corruption while colluding with Ukrainian government officials to influence the 2016 election in favor of Hillary Clinton.
In a court filing last Wednesday we learned that James Baker, the Director of the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment, is now under investigation for leaking the transcript of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s calls to the Washington Post.
This James Baker, not the same James Baker of the same name who served as consigliere to Obama’s FBI Director James Comey, was named as ONA director on May 14, 2015, during the Obama administration.
At that time a report called his appointment “part of a wave of new Pentagon personnel moves in recent days, senior-level officials who will outlast President Obama’s final term in office.”
Holdovers or long-term plants to disrupt the efforts of future presidents from implementing policies contrary to Obama’s? You decide.
By 2013, our Manchurian president had purged at least 197 high-ranking military commanders as he sought to cleanse from the ranks any officer suspected of disloyalty to, or disagreement with the administration on matters of policy or force structure.
That left those who remained compliant and fearful.
But, I digress.
Baker was previously under scrutiny in 2017 for demoting ONA security analyst Adam Lovinger when he came forward as a whistleblower questioning unreasonably high payments to outside contractors.
Among those contracts Lovinger questioned was one for $11.2 million to Chelsea’s longtime friend, Jacqueline Newmyer.
Lovinger’s suspicions were piqued when he realized that Newmyer’s company, Long Term Strategic Group (LTSG), lacked federal approval to view classified materials.
It doesn’t require a degree in strategic analysis to understand that a strategic planning group lacking the necessary security clearances has little to offer when analyzing national security and Chelsea’s involvement only raises the stink level.
Was this an attempt by Baker to curry favor with Hillary Clinton who he likely viewed as Obama’s successor?
According to Lovinger’s attorney, “Baker’s interest was his awareness of the LTSG-Clinton connection; his presumptive desire to exploit that to his advantage in the event of a Clinton election win; and the fact that contractors like LTSG served as a lucrative landing pad for ONA retirees.”
If proven, this would fulfill Baker’s role in directing government funding to the Clinton’s criminal syndicate.
His authorization of payments to Stefan Halper, an FBI informant who played a role in ‘dirtying up’ Trump campaign aide Carter Page in order to create the appearance of wrongdoing and justify a FISA warrant, proved his fealty to the Obama crime syndicate.
It’s Baker’s payments to Halper that has caught the attention of U.S. Attorney John Durham.
(Sara Carter) Justice Department prosecutor U.S. Attorney John Durham is questioning personnel connected to the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment, which awarded multiple contracts to FBI informant Stephan Halper. Halper, who was informing the bureau on Trump campaign advisors, is a central figure in the FBI’s original investigation into President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, SaraACarter.com has learned.
These latest developments reveal the expansive nature of what is now a Justice Department criminal probe into the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign.
Michael Flynn’s attorneys believe the conspiracy extends well beyond Baker.
The filing notes that Flynn’s defense team has requested phone records for then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to confirm his contacts with Washington Post report David Ignatius.
Specifically, the filing seeks Clapper’s records for Jan. 10, 2017. According to the filing, on that date “Clapper told Ignatius in words to the effect of ‘take the kill shot on Flynn.’”
For those wondering why both Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Durham seem like they’ll never wrap up their investigations, it just may be because the Obama-era corruption that they’re uncovering is far more expansive, deep-seated, and damaging than anyone ever imagined.
